Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to join our Patrol division. You’ll deliver expert roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK, diagnosing faults and providing fast, confident solutions to keep members moving.

You’ll work independently, using the latest diagnostic tech, with a focus on safety and customer service, while enjoying a structured development pathway and accredited training opportunities.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Perform roadside repairs, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Diagnose faults, provide quick, confident solutions and ensure members continue their journeys safely.
• Work independently to identify faults and complete repairs with customer service in mind.
