Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician based in the UK. With a Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification and 2+ years' experience, you will perform diagnostics and emergency roadside repairs as part of the Patrol division.

Start and finish from home, and operate with an RAC van, fuel card, uniform, tools and diagnostic kit provided. You'll work on demand-led shifts averaging 40 hours per week with optional overtime.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent with 2+ years' experience.
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
• Willingness to work demand-led shifts averaging ~40 hours per week with overtime.

Responsibilities

• Provide roadside repair and diagnostics across the UK.
• Deliver emergency breakdown support and customer reassurance.
