Job summary

Join the RAC as a Roadside Technician and solve problems that keep people moving. You’ll deliver expert roadside repair, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK, with shifts averaging 40 hours a week and achievable overtime.

We offer a structured development programme with hands-on learning and IMI accreditation, plus strong rewards including a competitive base salary (£36,400) and an realistic OTE of £61,000.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience.
• Or 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Diagnose faults and provide quick, confident solutions to keep members moving.
• Work independently to identify faults, advise members and deliver high-quality service.
