The RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician in the UK. You will perform mechanical roadside repairs, vehicle diagnostics and provide emergency breakdown support across the UK, delivering quick, confident solutions to keep members moving. Expect 40-hour weeks with demand-led shifts and potential overtime.

You'll develop through hands-on learning and IMI accreditation opportunities. Starting with a base salary of £36,400 and a realistic OTE of £61,000, top performers can earn significantly more

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

• Roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Diagnose faults and provide quick, confident solutions for members.
• Work independently to diagnose faults and help members stay safe and get back on the road.
