Job summary

RAC is hiring a Roadside Technician in the UK. You will perform mechanical roadside repairs, diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the country, starting and finishing from home with your RAC van, fuel card, and full uniform.

Ideal candidates have a Level 2 NVQ in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent, 2+ years' experience, or 5+ years as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic, and a full UK driving licence with ≤6 points.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years' experience.
• Or 5+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Perform roadside repairs, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Start and end your day at home, using RAC van and diagnostic kit.
• Provide quick, confident solutions and outstanding member service.
