Job summary

RAC is hiring a Roadside Technician to perform mechanical roadside repairs, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK. You will be garage-based and start/end from home, with a RAC van, fuel card, uniform and diagnostic kit provided.

The role requires an NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years' experience or 5+ years in a similar role, plus a full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Qualifications

• UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years' experience or 5+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.

Responsibilities

• Deliver roadside mechanical repair, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Start and end your day at home, using RAC van, fuel card and diagnostic kit provided.
