Job summary

RAC is recruiting a Roadside Technician to perform mechanical roadside repairs, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK. You’ll start and finish at home, with a RAC van, fuel card, full uniform, essential tools and diagnostic kit supplied.

Ideal candidates have an NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance with 2+ years’ experience and a full UK driving licence with <6 points, plus 5+ years’ experience as a technician. Shifts average 40 hours per week with optional overtime.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years' experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver mechanical roadside repair, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Start and end your day at home, working from your RAC van with provided tools and kit.
