Job summary

The RAC Motoring Services is seeking a Roadside Technician to deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK. You’ll start and end your day at home, with your own RAC van, fuel card, uniform, tools and diagnostic kit provided.

You’ll need a Level 2 qualification and at least 2 years’ post-qualification experience, plus a full UK driving licence and customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent) with at least 2 years' post-qualification experience
• Customer-focused approach and a full UK driving licence
• Ability to diagnose faults and perform roadside repairs under pressure

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert roadside repair and vehicle diagnostics across the UK.
• Provide emergency breakdown support and quick, confident solutions.
• Use tools and diagnostic kit to diagnose faults on site.
