The RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to diagnose faults, repair vehicles and get members back on the road across the UK. You’ll operate from a home base with local area coverage, and shifts that include overtime opportunities.

We offer a structured development programme with IMI accreditation, alongside a strong earning potential: £36,400 base with a realistic OTE of £61,000, boosted by bonuses and overtime where applicable.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsabilités

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Diagnose faults, solve problems and help members continue their journeys safely.
• Work independently to diagnose faults and provide quick, confident solutions.
