Job summary

RAC seeks a Roadside Technician to perform mechanical roadside repairs, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK. You will diagnose faults, provide rapid solutions, and enhance member journeys with strong customer service.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Diagnose faults and provide quick, confident solutions to keep members moving.
• Work independently to diagnose faults, solve problems and support members’ journeys.

Education

5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
