RAC is hiring a Roadside Technician to deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK. You’ll diagnose faults, perform repairs on the roadside and help members continue their journeys safely.

With a base salary of £36,400 and a realistic OTE of £61,000, the role offers overtime and bonus opportunities, 40-hour weeks, and a development pathway with IMI accreditation.

Formación

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent.
• 2+ years’ experience required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform mechanical roadside repairs and diagnostics to restore journeys.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns across the UK.
• Diagnose faults and implement quick, reliable solutions.
• Utilise diagnostic tools and stay updated with technical developments.
• Deliver confident customer service and explain repairs clearly.
