Join the RAC as a Roadside Technician and solve problems that keep people moving. You’ll diagnose faults, perform roadside repairs, and support members across the UK with a focus on safety and speed.

The role offers a strong base pay of £36,400 with an OTE around £61,000 and development through IMI accreditation. Expect location spread across the South West and opportunities to advance within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent with 2+ years’ experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as Vehicle Technician/Mechanic and a full UK driving licence with <6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Diagnose faults and provide quick, confident solutions to get members back on the road.
• Work independently with latest diagnostic technology and maintain high customer service standards.
