The RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to diagnose faults and perform emergency roadside repairs across the UK. You’ll deliver expert diagnostics, quick fixes, and calm customer service to get members moving again.

Starting salary £36,400 with a realistic OTE of £61,000; overtime and bonuses available. Structured development and IMI accreditation support your long-term career growth within the Patrol division.

Competenze

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent with 2+ years’ experience.
• Or 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Mansioni

• Deliver mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics across the UK.
• Provide quick, confident solutions and reassure members in breakdowns.
• Diagnose faults independently and help members continue their journeys safely.
• Utilise latest diagnostic tech and develop hands-on skills through IMI accreditation.
