Job summary

Allianz Partners is seeking an experienced roadside vehicle technician in the United Kingdom, starting and finishing from home and operating from a fully equipped van to assist customers on the move. You’ll diagnose faults at the roadside and decide repair or recovery to get customers back on the road.

This role offers field-based work across Glasgow with a rotating shift pattern, no overnights, paid overtime and a strong emphasis on safety, customer communication and data-driven service.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a vehicle or roadside technician at the scene.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills with modern equipment.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to drive a fully equipped van.

Responsibilities

• Attend roadside calls, assess the situation, diagnose faults using modern diagnostic tools, and repair at scene where safe.
• Make safety-led decisions on repair vs recovery; arrange recovery when needed.
• Own each job end-to-end: communicate with customers, set expectations, and provide reassurance.
