Allianz Partners in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced vehicle technician for field-based roadside assistance. You’ll start from home with a fully equipped van, diagnose faults on scene, and decide between repair or recovery to get customers back on the road.

This role offers a base salary of £41,200, plus an £8,000 bonus and a guaranteed £3,000 in your first year, with realistic OTE of £55,000 and top earners above £60,000.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a vehicle or roadside technician who can work independently at the scene.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills with modern equipment.
• Confident, calm customer communication; you’re the face of Allianz Partners at the roadside.
• Comfortable using IT, mobile apps and diagnostic software; data capture is part of the job.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to drive a fully equipped van across the allocated areas.
• EV credentials welcomed; if not, you’ll complete EV Level 3 IMI Accredited and ATA Level 3 roadside diagnostics training with us.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts between 7am and 10pm, including some weekends and Bank Holidays.

Responsabilités

• Attend roadside assistance calls, assess the situation, diagnose faults at the scene.
• Make safety-led decisions on repair versus recovery.
• Own each job end-to-end: communicate clearly with customers and set expectations.
• Operate and maintain your van and tools, follow safety procedures, and keep notes.
• Meet service, safety and quality standards with achievable targets and clear rewards.
• Work with AI, data analytics and cloud-based tools in line with data governance standards.
