Job summary

Europa Worldwide Group is seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager to join the Road Freights sales team. You will focus on winning new business, developing your own customer base in a defined area, and working toward clear monthly GP targets.

You’ll grow accounts initially and then pass them to Customer Services to stay focused on new opportunities. It’s a busy, targeted role requiring the ability to pick up the phone, meet customers face-to-face and build long-term

Qualifications

• Self-motivated and commercially driven salesperson.
• Proven ability to develop and convert new business.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong resilience and goal orientation.
• Desire to build a long-term career in sales and freight/logistics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow your own customer base within a defined area.
• Proactively source new sales leads using in-house CRM and external prospecting.
• Make outbound telesales calls to identify and profile opportunities.
• Conduct face-to-face customer visits and prepare tailored quotations.
• Manage newly won accounts for the first six months to maximise share of wallet.
• Maintain regular contact with customers to ensure service satisfaction and growth.
