Job summary

Europa Worldwide Group in Belfast is seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager to win new road freight business, grow an existing customer base, and hit monthly gross profit targets. The role blends phone prospecting with face-to-face meetings to build long-term relationships.

You will focus on new opportunities, hand over accounts after six months, and benefit from full training, a generous uncapped commission scheme, a pension, and 25 days holiday within a global logistics

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel within defined area.
• Proven ability to perform in a targeted, performance-driven environment.
• Experience in outbound telesales and face-to-face client visits.
• Familiarity with road freight/logistics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow your own customer base within allocated area.
• Source new leads using CRM/CMS and external prospecting.
• Make outbound calls to identify and profile opportunities.
• Conduct face-to-face visits and prepare tailored quotations.
• Manage new accounts for six months and aim to be sole supplier.
• Maintain regular contact to ensure service satisfaction and growth.
• After six months, hand over accounts to Customer Services.
