Leveraging this knowledge, you will manage projects that support the organization’s risk management strategies and compliance with evolving regulatory requirements.
As a Senior Project Manager within the Risk Management & Compliance (RM&C) department, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and executing projects that ensure the organization’s adherence to legal and regulatory requirements. You will lead cross-functional teams in the development and implementation of compliance initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with measurable value. This role requires close collaboration with stakeholders across various departments to identify risks, manage resources, and drive process improvements, all while maintaining a strong focus on business value realization.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of multiple large-scale projects to ensure timely delivery and value realization.
- Develop comprehensive project plans covering scope, schedule, resource allocation, risk management, UAT, training, and operational updates.
- Manage changes to project scope and schedule using established verification techniques.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
- Prepare and present regular project status reports, dashboards, and documentation for stakeholders and senior management.
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle, maintaining the RAID log.
- Escalate critical risks and issues to senior management and stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Allocate and manage resources effectively to drive project success.
- Mentor project team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
- Develop and execute effective stakeholder management strategies to ensure engagement and satisfaction.
- Partner with BAU teams to assess the impact, risks, and benefits of proposed changes.
Required qualifications, skills, and capabilities
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Relevant experience in project/ program management and stakeholder engagement.
- Strong data management skills, with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and visualization.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and writing.
- Ability to challenge the status quo and provide new perspectives for continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated skill in managing projects and problem-solving.
- Professional maturity and confidence in expressing viewpoints with varied stakeholders.
- Ability to build relationships with RM&C stakeholders to influence and drive key decisions to solve any concerns/issues.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across different business areas.
