VWFS in Milton Keynes is seeking a Risk Control Officer to provide administrative and analytical support for the Enterprise Risk Management framework. The role supports risk reporting to the Enterprise Risk Committee and Operational Risk & Financial Crime Risk Committee, contributing to high-quality reporting and board-level visibility.

The position requires strong attention to detail, discretion, and the ability to work to deadlines, with hybrid working arrangements and a 35-hour week.

Qualifications

• Solid experience within Automotive finance or banking industries.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to keep confidentiality.
• Ability to understand multi-threaded arguments and draw concise conclusions.
• Ability to communicate at all levels including Senior Management.
• Able to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develops and prepares agendas with Chairs and senior management.
• Assembles committee materials and reviews data for consistency and accuracy.
• Distributes meeting packs electronically within required timeframes.
• Produces accurate minutes reflecting confidential discussions and actions.
• Manages risk committee meeting schedules and reporting calendars.
• Oversees annual review of Terms of Reference for risk committees.
• Maintains strategic crisis management documentation and reporting.
