Job summary

Demob Job Ltd is recruiting for an Electronics Repair Engineer to join a well established team serving critical communication systems across the UK. The post combines workshop electronics repair with occasional field engineering duties, with initial training at a Wales workshop.

The role requires strong PCB fault-finding at component level, experience with RF transmitters and calibration, and a willingness to travel. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing faults on PCBs down to individual components.
• Soldering, desoldering, rework and electronic repairs.
• Experience using test equipment including oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers and multimeters.
• Willingness to travel and stay away from home occasionally.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, fault find and repair RF transmitters and related equipment to component level, including PCB repair and component replacement.
• Test, align and calibrate repaired equipment before returning to service.
• Use electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators and spectrum analysers.
• Install, commission, maintain and upgrade communications systems and equipment.
• Support fault investigation across customer and network sites as needed.
• Participate in an out of hours support rota once fully trained.
