A leading electronics manufacturer in Baildon is seeking an RF & Digital Electronics Design Engineer to join their expanding team. The ideal candidate will lead NPD and legacy projects, engaging in hands-on design and mentoring junior engineers. Applicants should have a strong background in RF engineering and experience working with large corporate customers. This role will focus on hardware design, requiring expertise in PCB layout and digital circuit design, while also facilitating collaboration within the engineering team.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Electrical & Electronic Engineering / Computing / Physics or equivalent.
• Proficient in the use of PCB schematic capture and layout software.
• Excellent digital circuit design skills.
• Knowledge of embedded processors.
• RF engineering experience.
• Experience in a senior or team leader role with mentoring responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects including new design and rework/modification.
• Work to deadlines and guarantee delivery.
• Engage in all aspects of hardware engineering including PCB schematics and layout design.
• Liaise with engineering team and mentor junior staff.

RF & Digital Electronics Design Engineer - Role & Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects including new design and rework/modification
• Efficiently work to deadlines and guarantee delivery on company deadlines
• Varied role encompassing all aspects of hardware engineering including PCB schematics, layout design, circuit design and test engineering
• Exposure to firmware/embedded software
• Liaise with other members of the engineering team and direct junior members of staff
