Job summary

AD WARRIOR in Eastbourne is seeking a Scheme Manager to join Highland Lodge, a retirement living scheme. You will support the Delivery Manager with day-to-day operations and help residents feel safe and empowered to live independently.

You will lead essential safety checks, including health and safety, fire safety and warden call systems, ensuring compliance and high-quality service. Strong communication and organisational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in housing or customer-facing roles.
• Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office, and a willingness to learn new systems.
• Excellent record-keeping skills and strong attention to detail.
• A self-starter with great organisational skills and a passion for helping others.
• A clear communicator who works well with residents, colleagues, contractors and external agencies.
• A practical problem-solver who delivers high-quality work and meets deadlines.
• Someone who takes pride in delivering excellent customer service, including resolving feedback and complaints.

Responsibilities

• Support the Delivery Manager with day-to-day operations of the scheme.
• Take ownership of safety checks, including health and safety, fire safety and the warden call system.
• Ensure compliance standards are met and consistently high levels of service.
• Identify and manage risks, including safeguarding concerns.
• Prioritise residents’ wellbeing and respond to feedback and complaints.
