Job summary

Home Group Limited seeks a Scheme Manager to run our leasehold retirement community, ensuring buildings are safe and residents can live independently in their own home. You’ll oversee day-to-day operations, engage residents, and maintain a welcoming environment across communal spaces.

The role is generally Monday to Friday with no on-call or out-of-hours duties. DBS check is required and paid for. Benefits include pension, health cash plan, and generous leave.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills and relationship-building across backgrounds.
• Knowledge of health and social issues affecting older people.
• Some safeguarding experience and ability to carry out risk assessments.
• Ability to work collaboratively with partners.
• Strong administrative skills: accounts, budgets, invoicing for repairs.

Responsibilities

• Manage the scheme on behalf of residents, ensuring safety and standards.
• Provide visibility on the scheme, engage with customers, respond to calls.
• Keep communal areas clean, safe and welcoming.
• Work with partner contractors for repairs and maintenance and sourcing local suppliers.
• Signpost customers to services to support welfare.
