Job summary

Home Group in the United Kingdom is hiring a Scheme Manager to oversee a retirement community, ensuring residents live independently in their own homes while keeping buildings safe and welcoming.

You will manage the scheme on behalf of residents, engage with customers, respond to calls, and support a warm, social environment in communal spaces. Coordinate with contractors for repairs and help source local suppliers where needed.

Responsibilities

• Managing the scheme on behalf of residents, ensuring buildings are safe, secure and meet required safety standards.
• Providing visibility on the scheme, engaging with customers, responding to calls and providing a warm, safe and welcoming environment.
• Ensuring communal areas are clean, safe and welcoming. Residents enjoy socialising in communal spaces.
• Working with partner contractors for repairs and maintenance in communal areas and sourcing suitable local suppliers.
• Signposting customers to relevant services to support their welfare and improve lives.

This is a great job opportunity for you to join our leasehold retirement team as our Scheme Manager. You'll ensure the smooth running of our retirement community by managing our buildings and ensuring our customers are always supported to live independently in their own home.

What you'll do

• Managing the scheme on behalf of our residents, ensuring that our buildings are safe, secure and meet required safety standards.
• Providing visibility on the scheme, engaging with customers, responding to calls and providing a warm, safe and welcoming environment.
• Ensuring communal areas are clean, safe and welcoming. Although our customers live independently, they like to get together regularly to socialise in our wonderful communal spaces.
• Working with partner contractors for any repairs and maintenance works required in communal living areas. You might also support sourcing suitable local suppliers.
• Signposting customers to relevant services to support their welfare and make a difference to their lives.
