Job summary

Sanctuary Group is seeking a Scheme Manager to oversee a retirement housing scheme for residents aged 55 and over. The role covers administration, housing management, resident engagement and welfare support, with lone-working but strong team support via MS Teams and regular meetings.

The successful candidate will manage voids, lettings and tenancy sign-ups, liaise with services to keep homes well-maintained, and host community activities to promote wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Some experience of working with older people in a support capacity and understanding their individual needs.
• Willingness to travel occasionally and hold a full valid driving licence.
• Good communication and organisational skills; customer-focused service.

Responsibilities

• Meet all legislative and regulatory requirements for housing services and ensure clean, safe homes.
• Promote resident involvement and provide information on local services to support wellbeing.
• Manage relationships with stakeholders, contractors and residents to improve service delivery.
• Coordinate local services to keep schemes clean, secure and well-maintained; monitor contractor performance.
