Job summary

John Lewis Partnership in Cirencester Waitrose is looking for a Team Leader to drive excellent customer service and shop operations. You will lead a team, support the management, and help maximise sales while upholding the highest standards.

Varied hours to cover seven days, including nights; you'll contribute to a safe and clean shop, manage online orders, stock and merchandising, and engage with partners to deliver great food experiences.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership and ability to manage a team.
• Experience in a customer facing role.
• Understanding of retail operations and commercial aims.
• Strong stakeholder management with third parties.

Responsibilities

• Support the shop's management with tasks and cross‑department cooperation.
• Ensure Partners work safely and within legal requirements.
• Fulfill online customer orders for delivery to doors.
• Replenish stock and keep shelves well stocked.
• Assist with Click & Collect and checkout support.
• Suggest ideas to drive commercial performance.
• Minimise wastage through due diligence and date checks.
