Job summary

Entertainer in Barnstaple is seeking a 30-hour Supervisor to support the Store Manager and lead a small team to deliver excellent service. You will open/close the store, manage daily operations and promotions, and contribute to stock control and recruit support when needed, with weekend cover and flexibility to meet peak period demands.

The role offers training, career progression, and a chance to demonstrate commercial flair while maintaining high store standards and customer focus.

Qualifications

• Experience of managing or supervising a small team
• Flexible approach to working hours and commitment to resource the store
• Be tech savvy, confident with computers and tablets
• Ability to identify sales opportunities and implement new ideas

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store, including Sundays on a rota and cover in the absence of Store management
• Ensure smooth day-to-day operations and till reconciliations
• Lead by example with exceptional customer service
• Implement in-store promotions and keep staff motivated and informed
• Participate in stock management, deliveries, merchandising and stock loss minimisation
• Assist with starters/leavers, rota management and recruitment support
