Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is seeking a part-time Retail Supervisor to help ensure smooth operations in a major High Street brand. The role is 15 hours per week, with flexible day shifts and opportunities for progression within a company that rewards achievement.

You will supervise frontline staff, handle tills, support with weekly rotas, stock orders and bookwork, and ensure food hygiene and health and safety standards are met. A positive attitude is essential.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring all deliveries are checked and stored promptly and correctly.
• Supervising a team, creating a positive environment where the team feel welcomed and supported.
• Being a responsible key holder.
• Using the till, taking orders and receiving payments.
• Assisting with weekly bookwork and any other duties as needed.
• Producing weekly rotas following the manager's guidelines.
• Placing orders for stock to maintain stock levels.
• Delegating where necessary and ensuring the team are proactive at all times.
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards.
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations.
