Could you spare just a few hours or even a day to Volunteer with us?

You would be helping to raise the £8 Million needed each year to provide vital Hospice care in your community.

In each of our 30 shops, the manager is supported by a friendly team of volunteers who assist in the smooth running of the shop.

Please note that Volunteers in our shops must be over 18 years of age.

Where are the shops based?

We have shops throughout Kent and Sussex so there is sure to be a store close to you! As well as our charity shops, we have several dedicated furniture stores as well as a warehouse based in East Peckham.

We offer taster days, bring a buddy to work and volunteer coffee mornings as an opportunity to learn more about our teams - please visit your nearest shop for more information and upcoming events.

What will I be doing?

Do you enjoy meeting a wide range of people? Within this role you will be the first point of contact for customers, help in the running of the shop, keeping it well stocked and presentable.

Typical tasks include:

  • Assistance customers where needed.
  • Promoting current events and any instore sales to customers
  • Assisting with window and shop
  • Keeping the shop tidy, clean and well organised
  • Help fellow volunteers and/or staff with customer queries.

You will not need any previous retail experience as full training will be provided.
