Job summary

Iceland Foods Ltd is seeking a committed Shift Manager to support the management team in delivering consistent store results. You will be recruited as a Retail Assistant and receive a £2 supplement for every hour that you shift manage the store.

In this role you will maximise profit, engage and develop great people, and uphold essential processes and leadership standards to create the best place to shop for customers and work for colleagues.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a retail management or supervisory role.
• Excellent communication to deliver store tasks first time.
• Ability to plan and organise the shift with the team.
• Provide constructive feedback to improve performance.
• Lead by example to deliver a great store on shift.

Responsibilities

• Maximise profit by ensuring great product availability for customers.
• Drive sales with promotional initiatives like 'sell a £1 & save a £1'.
• Complete actions set by line manager after daily floor walk.
• Support Talking Shop Rep and team engagement.
• Foster an inclusive culture and develop the team.
• Follow cash handling and security policies.
