Job summary

Iceland Foods Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a committed Shift Manager to join our growing team.

You will support the management team to deliver consistent results, maximise store availability and drive sales, while fostering an inclusive culture. You will be recruited as a Retail Assistant and receive a £2 supplement for every hour that you shift manage the store, with a range of benefits including discounts and holiday entitlement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a retail management or supervisory role.
• Communicates effectively with every colleague to deliver store tasks first time, every time.
• Plans and organises the shift, using every member of the team.
• Provides balanced feedback when needed to improve performance of every colleague.
• Sets the pace of the team, on shift, by being hands-on to deliver a great store.

Responsibilities

• Maximise profit by ensuring excellent product availability for customers.
• Engage, develop and retain great people through effective teamwork and inclusion.
• Follow and implement cash handling and security policies.
• Deliver a positive in-store and doorstep service through the One Best Way processes.
