Sainsbury's Supermarkets Ltd is seeking a part-time Service Assistant at the Penrith store (CA11 7FG). The role is a fixed-term assignment for 20 hours per week with a rate of £13.23 per hour.

You will support checkouts, self-service tills and kiosks, assist with Click & Collect, and ensure great customer service throughout shifts. Candidates should be flexible, team-oriented and capable of handling a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Right to work eligibility in the UK
• Age 18+ for shifts before 6am or after 11pm

Responsibilities

• Serve and support customers on checkouts, self-service tills, kiosks and petrol stations
• Assist customers with Click & Collect and On-demand grocery ordering
• Build product knowledge to provide recommendations
• Handle complaints, refunds, shelf tickets and advertising
• Move and retrieve trolleys safely in car parks
• Work flexibly across the store as needed
