Job summary

The role focuses on creating a safe, welcoming and secure environment for customers and colleagues, with a strong emphasis on professional conduct and customer service. The position offers a fixed hourly rate and guaranteed hours.

You will be the visible face in-store, handling incidents and focusing on loss prevention while using store tech and maintaining calm under pressure.

Qualifications

• Previous security experience is preferred.
• A valid SIA licence is desirable, although not essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A calm, confident and professional approach.
• A proactive mindset with the ability to make sound decisions quickly.
• A genuine passion for customer service and keeping people safe.

Responsibilities

• Be a visible presence in store, helping customers feel supported while keeping the business safe and secure.
• Prevent loss and respond to incidents, identify risks and support safe ways of working.
• Use store technology, including mobile reporting systems and body-worn cameras, to support store operations.
• Stay calm under pressure and act professionally and confidently in challenging situations.
• Work closely with store colleagues to maintain high standards and a positive environment.
• Adapt quickly to changing situations to support the store when needed.
