Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a Retail Security Officer for M&S locations across Dundee and surrounding areas. You will help create a safe, welcoming environment for customers and colleagues, while protecting people, stores and stock.

Join a fast-paced retail team, stay calm under pressure, and use digital reporting tools and body-worn cameras to support incident management. Previous security experience is preferred and an SIA licence is desirable.

Qualifications

• Previous security experience is preferred
• A valid SIA licence is desirable, although not essential
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Operate in a fast-paced retail environment, staying alert and ready to step in when needed
• Deliver professional customer service while maintaining store safety
• Help keep stores safe and secure, prevent loss, respond to incidents and identify risks
• Use store technology and body-worn cameras to support incident management
• Stay calm under pressure and act professionally in challenging situations
• Work closely with store colleagues to maintain high standards and positive environment
