Job summary

Foundation Recruitment is seeking a highly capable Security Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day delivery of security operations at a flagship shopping centre in the East Midlands. You will ensure a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for visitors, tenants, and stakeholders, and provide strong operational leadership across a large security team.

The role requires experience in retail security, managing large teams, CCTV operations, and incident response, with a focus on business

Qualifications

• Senior security operations experience, retail or high-footfall preferred.
• Proven ability to lead and develop large teams.
• Strong CCTV and security operations knowledge.
• Valid SIA Licence is essential.
• Knowledge of health & safety, compliance and risk management.
• Experience in emergency planning and incident management.
• Understanding of data protection and information security.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily security operations across the centre.
• Deploy security personnel and allocate resources.
• Maintain safe environment for customers, retailers, staff.
• Lead emergency planning and incident response.
• Manage CCTV monitoring and control room operations.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety and data protection.
• Provide line management to security teams.
• Contract management for third-party security providers.
• Develop and deliver security strategies and continuous improvements.
