Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a Security Manager to lead the regional security operation for a large shopping centre estate. You will shape strategy, governance, and resilience, ensuring safety for visitors, tenants, staff and contractors while aligning with regulatory requirements.

You will drive protective security, counter‑terrorism readiness, and crisis response, coordinating with police, authorities and partners to maintain a secure, welcoming environment across assets.

Qualifications

• Experience in senior security and crisis management in high-footfall environments.
• Deep knowledge of Martyn’s Law / Terrorism Act requirements.
• Ability to lead Duty Manager operations and centre oversight.
• Experience coordinating with police and emergency services.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review the centre’s security strategy to reflect changing threat environments.
• Provide security advice to senior management and asset teams.
• Draft annual security improvement plans and governance processes.
• Lead on Martyn’s Law compliance and testing across the estate.
• Oversee duty management rotations and incident responses during shifts.
