CYS Security is hiring a Security Officer to protect our stores, customers and colleagues in Oswestry. You will stay calm under pressure, lead with professionalism and deliver great service while maintaining a secure retail environment.

The role requires a valid SIA licence, strong communication skills and a proactive, safety-first mindset. You will be a visible presence on the shop floor, supporting incidents and day-to-day operations.

• Previous security experience is preferred.
• A valid SIA licence is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide a welcoming store environment and assist customers and colleagues.
• Help keep stores safe and secure by preventing loss and responding to incidents.
• Identify risks and support safe ways of working in-store.
• Use store technology and body-worn cameras to support operations and incident management.
