Job summary

Poundstretcher Croydon is seeking experienced Security Officers (SIA Door Supervisors) for permanent roles at CR0 1RB. You will maintain a visible security presence, patrol, assist customers, and report incidents. Shifts include 12:00–20:00 and 10:00–16:00 across 30h or 24h per week, with overtime.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible security presence throughout the store.
• Conduct regular patrols and monitor activity within the premises.
• Prevent theft, loss, damage, and anti-social behaviour.
• Respond professionally to incidents, emergencies, and security concerns.
• Complete Daily Occurrence Book (DOB) entries and incident reports accurately.
• Provide excellent customer service and assistance to customers and visitors.
• Build positive relationships with store colleagues and management.
• Support stock protection and loss prevention initiatives.
• Monitor and report health and safety issues where required.
• Handle conflict situations professionally and effectively.
• Ensure all security procedures and company policies are followed at all times.
• Liaise with emergency services and management when necessary.

Ideal Candidate
