Job summary

Staffline, in partnership with TSS, is seeking a Retail Security Officer based in Bristol. You will provide visible security presence, enforce loss prevention policies, and deter troublemakers while adhering to site procedures and safety protocols.

The role requires a valid SIA licence, strong communication skills, and a customer-focused approach as you support staff and visitors on site. This is a varied shift role with opportunities for progression within a global security leader.

Responsibilities

• Providing a visible uniformed deterrent, to contribute to the safety and security of the client's premises and staff
• Carrying out Company Policy on loss prevention and ensuring the safety of staff and visitors
• Lawfully deter potential troublemakers on site
• Observe and report incidents using the correct reporting systems
• Carrying out all duties assigned by the client or manager to whom you are responsible
• Ensuring site knowledge is kept up to date and developments at the local level are identified
• Understanding and implementing any Fire and Safety evacuation procedures
• Assisting, if required by the Client, with staff and contractor searches
• Ensuring that the Security base is always maintained in a clean and tidy condition
• Conducting yourself, at all times, in a manner which will bring credit to yourself and the Company, ensuring a full uniform is worn, and an SIA licence is clearly displayed

Your Time at Work
