Job summary

Staffline, in partnership with TSS, seeks a Retail Security Officer for Banbury. You will provide a visible deterrent, safeguard staff and visitors, and adhere to client security policies, ensuring safety and loss prevention on site.

The ideal candidate holds a valid SIA licence, excels in communication and customer service, and can work the listed shifts. Induction and on-site training support your career progression within a global security provider.

Responsibilities

• Providing a visible uniformed deterrent to contribute to safety and security of the client’s premises and staff.
• Carrying out company policy on loss prevention and ensuring staff and visitors’ safety.
• Lawfully deter potential troublemakers on site and observe/report incidents using proper systems.
• Carry out duties assigned by the client or manager and keep site knowledge up to date.
• Understand and implement Fire and Safety evacuation procedures.

Position: Retail Security Officer

Location: Banbury

Pay Rate: £13.80 per hour. TSS work with site based rates.

Hours: Various

Shifts

• Thursday 13:45pm - 23:00pm
• Friday 13:45pm - 23:00pm
• Saturday 13:45pm - 23:00pm
• Sunday 13:45pm - 23:00pm

SG / DS SIA licence required.

Your Time at Work

As a Retail Security Officer your duties include:

• Providing a visible uniformed deterrent, to contribute to the safety and security of the client's premises and staff
• Carrying out Company Policy on loss prevention and ensuring the safety of staff and visitors
• Lawfully deter potential troublemakers on site
• Observing and reporting incidents using the correct reporting systems
• Carrying out all duties assigned by the client or manager to whom you are responsible
• Ensuring site knowledge is kept up to date and developments at the local level are identified
• Understanding and implementing any Fire and Safety evacuation procedures
• Assisting, if required by the Client, with staff and contractor searches
• Ensuring that the Security base is always maintained in a clean and tidy condition
• Conducting yourself, at all times, in a manner which will bring credit to yourself and the Company, ensuring a full uniform is worn and the SIA licence is clearly displayed
