Staffline, in partnership with TSS, is seeking a Retail Security Officer for Worthing. The role requires an SIA licence, a visible uniform, and a commitment to high standards of customer service and safety.

You'll provide deterrence, protect people and property, and engage in active loss prevention. Hours are varied, and the position offers a route into progression within a large international security provider.

Qualificações

• Great communication and customer service skills are essential.
• Admin work is digital/paperless; must be tech-savvy to use digital devices.
• Aged 18 or over and a confident communicator who is a team player with a friendly, professional manner.

Responsabilidades

• Provide visible uniformed deterrent to enhance safety on client premises.
• Follow loss prevention policies and ensure staff and visitor safety.
• Deter potential troublemakers on site and observe/report incidents.
• Observe and report incidents using the correct reporting systems.
• Carry out duties assigned by the client or manager.
• Keep site knowledge up to date and identify local developments.
• Assist with Fire and Safety evacuation procedures as required.
• Assist with staff/contractor searches when required by the client.
• Maintain a clean and tidy security base and ensure full uniform is worn with SIA licence displayed.

Pay Rate: £14.10 per hour

Hours: Various

SG / DS SIA licence required.

Your Time at Work

As a Retail Security Officer your duties include:

• To provide a visible uniformed deterrent, to contribute to the safety and security of the client's premises and staff
• To carry out Company Policy on loss prevention and ensure the safety of staff and visitors
• To lawfully deter potential troublemakers on site
• To observe and report incidents using the correct reporting systems
• To carry out all duties assigned by the client or manager to whom you are responsible
• To ensure site knowledge is kept up to date and developments at local level are identified
• To understand and implement any Fire and Safety evacuation procedures
• To assist, if required by the Client, with staff and contractor searches
• To ensure that the Security base is always maintained in a clean and tidy condition
• To conduct yourself, at all times, in a manner which will bring credit to yourself and the Company, ensuring full uniform is worn and SIA licence is clearly displayed
