Job summary

Staffline in partnership with TSS is recruiting a Retail Security Officer for a Bristol location. The role involves maintaining safety, conducting loss prevention, and providing a professional security presence.

You will need strong communication and customer service, and be comfortable using digital devices for admin tasks. The position requires 18+ and a valid SIA licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide a visible uniformed deterrent and ensure safety of staff and premises.
• Carry out loss prevention and safety procedures per policy.
• Deter troublemakers on site lawfully.
• Observe and report incidents using proper reporting systems.
• Perform duties assigned by client or manager.
• Keep site knowledge up-to-date and identify local developments.
• Understand and implement Fire and Safety evacuation procedures.
• Assist with staff and contractor searches if required.
• Maintain a clean and tidy security base.
• Present yourself professionally with full uniform and valid SIA licence clearly displayed.

Job description

TSS are currently recruiting Retail Security Officers in Bristol, where no two days will be the same and you will have the opportunity to carve out a career with the biggest name in security.

Applicants must hold a valid SIA Security/Door Supervisor Licence.

Position: Retail Security Officer. Locations: Bristol. Pay Rate: £16.00 per hour. Shifts: Monday - Saturday, 12:00-20:00.

Your Time at Work

• To provide a visible uniformed deterrent, to contribute to the safety and security of the client's premises and staff
• To carry out Company Policy on loss prevention and ensure the safety of staff and visitors
• To lawfully deter potential troublemakers on site
• To observe and report incidents using the correct reporting systems
• To carry out all duties assigned by the client or manager to whom you are responsible
• To ensure site knowledge is kept up to date and developments at local level are identified
• To understand and implement any Fire and Safety evacuation procedures
• To assist, if required by the Client, with staff and contractor searches
• To ensure that the Security base is always maintained in a clean and tidy condition
• To conduct yourself, at all times, in a manner which will bring credit to yourself and the Company, ensuring full uniform is worn and SIA licence is clearly displayed
