Job summary

Staffline, in partnership with TSS, is seeking a Retail Security Officer for a Daventry store. You will provide a visible, uniformed deterrent and help protect staff and customers, while following loss-prevention policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide a visible uniformed deterrent to security the client's premises and staff.
• Carry out loss-prevention policies and ensure safety of staff and visitors.
• Deter troublemakers on site and observe/report incidents accurately.
• Keep site knowledge updated and follow fire and safety procedures.
• Assist with staff and contractor searches if required by the client.
• Maintain a clean and tidy security base and wear a full uniform with SIA licence displayed.

Retail Security Officer to work at a store in

Daventry, where no two days will be the same and you will have the opportunity to carve out a career with the biggest name in security.

Pay Rate:

£13.80 per hour

Shifts:

Mon and Tue 2pm until midnight and Sunday 10am to 4pm - other shifts may be available to cover holidays and sickness

SG / DS SIA licence required.

Your Time at Work

As a Retail Security Officer, your duties include:

• To provide a visible uniformed deterrent, to contribute to the safety and security of the client's premises and staff
• To carry out the Company Policy on loss prevention and ensure the safety of staff and visitors
• To lawfully deter potential troublemakers on site
• To observe and report incidents using the correct reporting systems
• To carry out all duties assigned by the client or manager to whom you are responsible
• To ensure site knowledge is kept up to date and developments at local level are identified
• To understand and implement any Fire and Safety evacuation procedures
• To assist, if required by the Client, with staff and contractor searches
• To ensure that the Security base is always maintained in a clean and tidy condition
• To conduct yourself, at all times, in a manner which will bring credit to yourself and the Company, ensuring a full uniform is worn and an SIA licence is clearly displayed

Our perfect Retail Security Officer will need to be aged 18 or over, a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to always provide a friendly and professional service.
