Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a Retail Relief Security Officer to protect stores and assets while delivering a visible security presence and high levels of customer service across multiple sites within a reasonable distance from your home.

You will support store operations, deter loss, and comply with Assignment Instructions while maintaining required licences and adapting to deployment details and site needs.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail security or loss prevention.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• SIA Licence – essential (Door Supervision or Security Guarding) with CCTV licence where required.
• SC Clearance desirable.
• Complete all mandatory training and development.

Responsibilities

• Provide a highly visible security presence on the shop floor and deter theft.
• Deliver customer service by assisting customers and supporting a positive in-store experience.
• Work with store management to support day-to-day operations and incidents.
• Monitor activity to identify suspicious behaviour and prevent stock loss.
• Carry out patrols and complete incident reports accurately.
