Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a Retail Relief Security Officer to protect a client's store and assets. You will provide a visible security presence, deter theft, and support store operations while delivering service that meets KPIs and SLAs.

Deployment across multiple sites near your home and occasional travel are expected. SIA and CCTV licenses are required where applicable. You will play a key role in creating a safe and welcoming shopping environment, preventing loss, and supporting store

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail security or loss prevention.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• SIA Licence – essential; CCTV licence and SC clearance desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide a highly visible security presence on the shop floor to deter theft.
• Deliver excellent customer service and assist customers.
• Support store operations and respond to incidents.
• Monitor activity to identify suspicious behaviour and prevent stock loss.
• Carry out regular patrols and manage conflicts professionally.
• Complete incident reports and maintain documentation.
