Overview

Do you have what it takes to make the shelves irresistible to shoppers? Do you have a knack for spotting what looks good and creating eye-catching displays? Do you have an eye for detail? At eXPD8, we’re looking for a Retail Merchandiser based in Tesco Clevedon in the BS21 6LH area. You’ll be an integral part of a field-based retail merchandising team, working on behalf of exciting household name brands. Although you will be based in one area, there are work opportunities across a variety of different stores.

You will be responsible for ensuring the fixtures are set up effectively, products and promotions are displayed attractively, and the shelves are well-stocked.

Role details

Location: Tesco Clevedon, BS21 6LH (field-based across multiple stores)

Hours (confirmed):

• Monday 8:00am - 12:00pm
• Thursday 8:00am - 1:00pm
• Friday 9:00am - 12:00pm
• Plus ad hoc work as agreed

Responsibilities

• Compliance with merchandising standards, store policies, procedures, and health and safety guidance
• Follow and implement planograms to ensure consistency and compliance
• Arrange and organise products on shelves and displays to maximise visibility and appeal
• Set up promotional displays and signage to communicate prices, discounts, and offers
• Build and maintain good working relationships with instore colleagues, particularly department and store managers
• Provide accurate and timely feedback to client account teams via the feedback application

Qualifications and qualities

• Experience of, or a passion for, merchandising, retail and/or customer service
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to own your work within set timeframes and use initiative to solve problems
• Pride in delivering high standards and service for clients
• Comfort with light manual handling (moving and arranging products from warehouse to shopfloor)
• Willing to accept home deliveries of point of sale or stock items for some visits (paid extra)
• Comfort using a company tablet to download briefs, take photos, and answer task questions
• Full UK driving license and access to a car
