Charles Tyrwhitt is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in the UK to lead a store team, drive sales, and deliver exceptional customer service while developing staff talent and supporting operational success.

The role focuses on exceeding sales targets, coaching the team, managing stock, and maintaining compliance, with opportunities for professional development through CT Academy and related training programs.

Qualifications

• Previous retail management experience.
• Proven ability to lead, inspire and motivate others to achieve and work to very high standards.
• Coaching and leadership skills.
• Highly commercial with strong analytical skills.
• Stock management and loss prevention experience.
• Knowledge of understanding systems with a good understanding of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and KPI performance, delivering exceptional customer service.
• Lead and develop the store team and support commercial and operational success.
• Influence and exceed sales targets and KPI goals, maximise opportunities.
• Manage customer appointments, including corporate clients and wedding parties.
• Coach and train the team on service and selling standards, utilise reports and training tools.
• Support Store Manager with reporting, data analysis and stock responsibilities.
• Assist with cost control, recruitment, HR, Health & Safety and compliance.
