Job summary

Charles Tyrwhitt is seeking a Senior Sales Assistant to join the Lewis and the Team at our Bicester Village store. The role is 40 hours per week with overtime; flexible to work weekends and bank holidays. Ideal candidates have key holder experience and will be ready for store opening/closing shifts.

You will support management, deliver exceptional customer service, drive sales, and contribute to high visual merchandising standards while maintaining store housekeeping and security guidelines.

Qualifications

• Retail experience (apparel or customer-facing preferred).
• Some key-holder experience.
• Strong customer service and selling skills.
• Leads by example on service, selling, and shop floor standards.
• Enthusiastic, driven, and self-motivated.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Open/close the store and support store management to run the operation safely and legally.
• Provide expert product knowledge and deliver excellent customer service to maximise sales.
• Take ownership of customer and wedding appointments and contribute to VM and store standards.
• Coach and induct Sales Assistants; maximise sales opportunities to achieve KPIs.
• Maintain high visual merchandising standards and housekeeping; ensure safety and security procedures.
• Process deliveries, transfers and merchandise efficiently and accurately.
