Job summary

Whitestone Resourcing Limited is assisting with the recruitment of a senior Business Development Director for the Retail division. The role focuses on driving new business growth across high-footfall environments such as shopping centres and commercial properties, leading strategy, bids and negotiations.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in outsourced services, strong relationships in retail property, and the drive to open doors and win opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of winning significant new business in outsourced services.
• Experience selling into retail, shopping centres, commercial property or similarly complex, multi-site environments.
• Established relationships with managing agents and senior property stakeholders.
• Strong commercial acumen and experience managing complex bids and negotiations.
• Ability to engage and influence senior decision-makers.
• Proactive, self-motivated with drive to generate opportunities, not just manage a pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business acquisition targeting high-value, multi-site opportunities.
• Build relationships with managing agents, property managers, asset managers and other key decision-makers.
• Develop and manage a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities.
• Lead bid strategy, client presentations and commercial negotiations through to contract award.
• Identify opportunities to introduce cleaning and wider soft FM services to new clients.
• Collaborate with operational and commercial teams to develop competitive service solutions.
• Contribute to the long-term growth of the Retail division.
