Job summary

JD Sports is seeking a Supervisor to help run the shop floor, support colleagues across shifts, and uphold high service, presentation and store performance.

You will assist with opening and closing, cash handling, and till operations while guiding the team to deliver excellent customer experiences and promote product ranges.

This role requires strong communication, a proactive leadership style, and a confident eye for visual merchandising in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising or leading a team in retail or customer-facing environments.
• Strong communication and guidance to colleagues on the shop floor.
• Attention to detail with high service, presentation and store operations.
• Interest in retail trends and promoting company values and behaviours.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service by supporting customers, resolving queries, and ensuring team presentation meets brand expectations.
• Support sales performance by monitoring service levels, using in-store devices to offer the full product range, and assisting with effective product placement.
• Maintain strong visual and operational standards by keeping the shop floor clean, organised, and aligned with brand standards and company expectations.
• Assist with daily operational duties including opening and closing procedures, cashing up, and supporting accurate till operations.
